Selection Procedure

A thorough selection procedure is important in order to attract and retain the right people. What can you expect when you decide to apply?

First of all a pre-selection happens based on your resume. Your CV is screened by HR: if considered a “fit” with existing vacancies/opportunities within the company, it will be passed on to our appropriate Business Unit for further technical evaluation.

If the Business Unit Manager is convinced by your profile, you will be invited for a first interview. The HR team will contact you by phone or e-mail and invite you for a meeting. At that time, you will encounter our Business Unit Manager. He will look at your experience, skills/knowledge, motivation, contractual expectations and possible avalibility; in short: what could be your added value to GFI.

At the same time he shall answer any questions you may have about GFI, and inform you about the different possibilities within our organization.

If the first meeting turns out to be a success for both parties, you will be invited for a second round. This contains an assessment of your consultancy skills, of which the results will be a guide through the second interview. This interview will focus on the competencies needed for the role that you are applying for and evaluate to which extent you have the right experience and skills. Depending on the position you are applying for, you will undergo a technical screening with one of our experts/technical coaches. During this interview they will have a look at your technical knowledge and see to what extent you possess the know-how for the role you are applying for.

As we are aware that this procedure demands some planning, we try to be flexible and take in account your availability and agenda as much as possible.

After this in-depth screening, we believe both parties should have all the information needed to see whether there could be a good fit between you and GFI. This is not only important for us as a company, but also for you, so you know what to expect and can see for yourself whether you are “GFI material”.

Remember, before going to an interview, it’s always important to be well prepared.
