We believe that Human Capital is our most important asset, so we work proactively on a good follow up of your competencies and your ambitions throughout the year. GFI uses a proprietary system of regular follow-up, where you have minimum two formal meetings per year with your direct management. The technical growth of our employees is monitored by direct Managers throughout the year.

With project debriefings, we take the time to look back at what has been done in a certain project and which lessons can be learned. At that moment, we also take into account your personal project experience.

Besides these meetings, there are several informal contacts with your direct Manager and/or HR. This allows you to stay in touch throughout the year, and you have always someone you can turn to if you want to discuss specific issues.

In order to support these contacts, we organize regular feedback sessions, breakfast meetings and other events and tools (GFI Talks, GFI Faces...), which are all GFI related. Or you can join our social activities that have nothing to do with your work as such, just having fun and enjoying yourself with your colleagues.

Personal development


You only start working at GFI when we mutually believe long term collaboration is possible… But this means that we need to make sure you don’t get bored by staying in the same role and/or function. That is why we invest a lot in your career planning & development.


In order to support your career development, GFI uses a custom made career management system, which includes role descriptions, technical skills, soft skills … positioned on different career levels.


Your specific function might be a combination of different roles you can take up during or between projects: technical, management, presales … Most of our employees like to combine these different roles. The roles vary from project to project and depend on your personal expectations!
This system allows us to look at your career in a very flexible way, meaning that you can choose different directions to evolve in (architectural, business, analytical, management, international …) and that you can adapt your development plan to your current situation at any given moment.
